But Chef Kevin said how he persevered in exercising and eating a clean diet. He posted, “It has taken me over two years and I’ve lost 130lbs. I exercise every day with my wife and puppy Cookie Monster.” He then added, “I eat low carb (not no carb because that’s just not for me)& a lot smaller portions. It’s taken a long time &been hard but worth it.”
Added to that, he also had pre-diabetes and rising blood pressure, resulting in a mutual decision with his wife that he should go on a weight loss diet.
This was revealed to the public when he posted about his body transformation on his Facebook account. It was about him giving away the clothes that are too large for him to wear and a fan was commented about how amazing Kevon Belton’s body transformation was.
“I have been working on it for a long time. I do talk to the food. I needed to do something. I was getting uncomfortable. I was told I was pre-diabetic and my blood pressure was rising. So my wife and I decided to do something about it.”
Now, another Facebook fan commented on the post to ask about how Kevin Belton started his weight loss journey. This is what the celebrity Chef said,
“I had to do something about it. It’s been over two years, and I still have some left to go, but my doc said I could easily have added 10-20 years to my life. And I feel so much better.”
A daily exercise with his wife and a low-carb diet was his routine in order to achieve a healthy body and add years to his life.

Yes, Chef Kevin Belton was married in 2018 to Monica on a surprise wedding at WYES studio where his TV show was taped.
They first met in 2000 during Kevin’s event. Monica described her as funny, charismatic, funny, and tall. But then their relationship went off for 12 years when Monica moved to another place to find a job. Several years later, it became something else. Kevin made a way to keep the communication going and asked if they can work it out again.
Now, they are enjoying their married life with their son, Noah.
