It is pretty much obvious that his face slimmed down and his body got a trimmer look. The political reporter managed to shed pounds of his weight and started to live a healthier lifestyle amidst his full-packed daily schedule.
He revealed to his critics his diet tips and said, “I was on a Campaign Diet for the last 10 years.” He added, “I woke up last year and said to myself, ‘Why am I eating a hamburger a day?’ I started taking a walk a day and drinking black coffee” instead of with cream and sugar. “And ever since I committed to that, and been the better for it.”

What Is Robert Costa’s Weight Loss Diet?
How did Robert Costa lose weight might sound interesting for you. As he mentioned, he simply started out doing the little things in order to achieve his weight loss goal.
Changing what kind of coffee he would drink every day brings a lot of health benefits to him. We all know how cream and sugar affect the fat and calorie count in our diet. So instead, he switched to having a pure black coffee to make it more considerable.
He also eliminated his habit of eating hamburgers and other fast foods to effectively lose weight. Did you know that the dietary or nutritional content of a plain hamburger consists of 119 calories? Plus, add the 1.9 grams of fat and 21.3 grams of total carbohydrates, which would take much effort to lose weight!
Imagine eliminating 119 calories every single day or even just every week by just doing simple changes?
Robert Costa simply considers the gradual change over some time. He didn’t lose weight overnight, he lost weight by eliminating the small, unhealthy things, which eventually made a huge result for him.
If you cannot immediately eliminate your unhealthy habits, start by consuming small portions of it. For example, switching to a diet soda can totally erase the calories you consume from a regular can of soda. Or you can choose to buy medium size of soda than a large glass.
You could also minimize your habit of going to fast-food restaurants by once or twice a month instead of going in every week. That would surely for you. You would definitely agree that every single food there consists of hundreds of calories and truth be told, it is never, and will never be good for your health.
The thing is, you can slowly keep on changing your lifestyle just like what Robert Costa did. He started by simply doing the small things – walking and doing another low-intense workout every day, having a cup of pure black coffee, healthy sandwiches instead of hamburgers, glass water instead of a can of soda, or choose a teaspoon of naturally flavored honey instead of teaspoons of sugar.
Also, if you are not a fan of intense workouts, you can be physically active by walking around your village with your pet; you can go on biking with friends; hiking on mountains; swimming with family; enroll in dance lessons or yoga class; running early morning, or just by doing home workouts.
That would definitely help a lot!
