His inspiration to lose weight was because of a project – The Lost – that he was asked to lose a significant amount of weight. 

But unlike anyone else who is going through obesity, Jorge (pronounced as (’hor-hay) Garcia admitted that he was still happy and finds no problem with it – he was known as the chubby and funny guy on screens. He even married the love of his life last 2019 which took place last summer.

It wasn’t an easy and one-time challenge for Jorge. He also went through frustrations and discouragement.

His supporters were excitedly waiting for the result of his weight loss journey. He was nearing 400 pounds and his doctors have already advised him to go through a weight loss regimen. Though unconfirmed, it was reported that he has to go through the gastric bypass to help his stomach feel full and reduce overeating, hence, reduce his weight. 

Jorge Garcia along with his dietitians, workout trainers, and other health professionals worked together to achieve a significant change in actor’s weight.

He started taking the Nooch diet along with fruits, vegetables, low carbohydrates, and protein-rich foods. He also quit his alcohol addiction and started to work out regularly with the recommended exercises by his doctors resulting in Jorge Garcia now losing 30 pounds off of his weight.

Day 7.

Raw or cooked vegetables and a cup of brown rice.
